Are you studying Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Software Development, or a related bachelor? At XS2Event, we offer a hands-on internship where you work on real technical challenges connected to global sports, ticketing, travel, and iconic sports brands.

From day one, you will work on meaningful projects with direct relevance to our platform, our partners, and our international growth. You will be guided by experienced developers and technical leaders while getting the space to research, build, test, and present your own solution.

Depending on your study direction and interests, your internship can focus on AI, backend engineering, distributed systems, frontend prototyping, data analysis, or a combination of these areas.

Possible AI Topics

  • Designing a Model Context Protocol (MCP) concept for sports event agent discovery and booking.
  • Researching the trade-offs between using ChatGPT models, self-hosted models, own hardware, and SaaS providers such as DigitalOcean.
  • Simulating an agent-based marketplace where a Buyer Agent searches for the best deal, a Seller Agent optimizes revenue, and a Negotiation Engine manages structured offers until an end state is reached.
  • Building algorithms to detect anomalies, spikes, failures, or unusual behavior in booking, pricing, traffic, or partner data.
  • Creating demand forecasting models based on historical data, partner behavior, events, seasonality, or market patterns.
  • Exploring how AI can help connect iconic sports brands to travel agencies worldwide.

Possible Computer Science Topics

  • Designing a global low-latency architecture with localized read/write nodes to improve worldwide platform performance.
  • Implementing a fail-safe distributed transaction flow using the SAGA pattern to ensure consistency across multiple services.
  • Building full integration tests using Python and Docker-based environments, including containerized services and test orchestration.
  • Simulating high-traffic peaks and implementing detection for spikes, failures, bottlenecks, and abnormal system behavior.
  • Developing a frontend prototype for a football club rewards program, targeting specific audiences with incentives such as stadium vouchers, loyalty rewards, or travel-related benefits.

Your Profile

  • You are currently studying Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Software Development, or a related bachelor.
  • You are looking for a graduation internship, research internship, or technical internship project.
  • You have demonstrable programming experience, for example through study projects, GitHub, hobby projects, or previous internships.
  • You are interested in AI, agents, backend systems, frontend development, data, architecture, or scalable platforms.
  • You are curious, proactive, and enjoy sharing knowledge with others.
  • You are not afraid to challenge the status quo when you see a better solution.
  • You have a practical mindset: research is important, but the outcome should be clear, useful, and preferably working.
