11,500 Dutch fans welcome at TT Assen

Created: 21 mei 2021

The 90th Motul TT Assen, which will be held from 25 to 27 June 2021, can be attended by 11,500 Dutch spectators per day. The TT Circuit Assen has reached an agreement on this with the Drenthe Safety Region and MotoGP promotor Dorna.

Because this ‘interim year’ will be a different TT event and experience, a separate pre-sale procedure will be started for 2021. On Friday 21 May – initially the next two weeks exclusively for our loyal Dutch visitors – the presale will open at 12:00 pm. Only fixed seats are available. A maximum of 4 tickets per customer can be purchased per day, whereby the 1.5 metre distance must be observed. Visitors from the same household can sit together.

Tickets are sold exclusively in advance. No tickets will be sold at the circuit ticket offices.

The tickets already purchased for 2020 will remain valid for 2022. This means that for 2022 fans are assured of their traditional permanent place.

The visitors to each grandstand will have their own ‘bubble’. A customised traffic plan has been developed for this, which will lead people to the parking area next to “their” grandstand. The route to be followed for each grandstand is shown on the admission ticket by means of a colour code. This way, every grandstand has its own parking area and the visitors are then led directly to ‘their’ grandstand. Everyone therefore remains safe in their own ‘bubble’.

At the moment, TT Assen assumes that all spectators can only be admitted to the event upon presentation of a negative (speed) test. The status of these regulations is not entirely clear at the time of this writing. The tests will be carried out free of charge through the national network of “Testen voor Toegang”.
